Plan Before the Event
What to Consider When Designing Your Booth
Confirm the organizer’s rules and understand how you plan to use the space before selecting additional equipment.
Booth Dimensions
Verify that the assigned space can accommodate a 10' × 10' tent and that the organizer permits the proposed equipment.
Display Requirements
Consider the amount, size, and weight of your merchandise, informational materials, equipment, or display pieces.
Guest Interaction
Leave enough open space for customers to approach the table, ask questions, complete transactions, or review materials.
Weather Protection
Determine whether your event rules allow sidewalls and whether additional protection from sun or light wind is appropriate.
Power & Equipment
Confirm outlet locations and organizer requirements before adding electrical equipment, extension cords, or powered displays.
Vendor Comfort
Consider staffing, seating, water, outdoor temperature, event duration, and whether approved cooling equipment may be helpful.
Before You Reserve
Review the Event Organizer’s Vendor Requirements
Vendor rules vary by market, venue, municipality, and event organizer. Confirm the assigned space, setup surface, anchoring rules, arrival time, breakdown time, and permitted equipment before completing your reservation.
Important Tent Information
